Uniq (an integer) is a unique value for this fun. As from Erlang/OTP R15, this integer is calculated from the compiled code for the entire module. Before Erlang/OTP R15, this integer was based on only the body of the fun. The library has developed a dual schema: 64-bit unique identity to be used within Erlang virtual machine and 96-bit unique identity for distributed environments. Client applications benefits from short 64-bit identity using it locally and dynamically switches schema while communicating with remote peers.

Concurrency in Erlang
By abuse of notation, when no confusion can The coupling between Erlang and the program remains in the code of the server process. The server process can include additional unique id in each request issued to the port. Ruby program will include this id in the response message, so the server can reliably match the response to a particular client request.
Reverse analyze an existing number. The UNIQ function returns the subscripts of the unique elements in an array. Note that repeated elements must be adjacent in order to be found.
